Our Services

  • 3rd Party Terminal Assurance Audits

Execute marine terminal assurance audits for your own terminal or your 3rd party contracted facilities. Our audits will be based on both USCG and MTMSA regulations as well as best practice guidelines. A thorough audit report will be generated stating all observations referencing industry standards associated with said observations. INC-MTCC can also perform rail, truck and pipeline assessments are also available.

  • Regulatory and Customer Assurance Audit Prep/Compliance

Prepare your terminal for audits by regulatory agencies or your customers assurance teams. We will cover both USCG CFR’s and MTMSA guidelines if your customer's audit uses the MTMSA or it’s site visit guide. If you have an audit that produces findings, we can build an action plan and provide the tools to satisfy your findings and/or opportunities.

  • TPIC Training Manual Development and Classes

Develop Terminal Person-in-Charge (TPIC) training curriculum and compliance with USCG regulations and OCIMF best practice guidelines found in the MTMSA and MTOCT. A computer-based training program can also be delivered in addition to in person initial and refresher training classes to fit your needs to build the competence of your TPIC’s.

  • Operations Manual, Procedures and TIB Development

Terminal managers rarely have the time during the workday to take a break, let alone develop procedures or write a manual. Our team can develop any and all of your required literature and manuals for you. USCG operations, Terminal Information Booklets for use in pre arrival communications, Transfer procedures, Declaration of Inspection, Spill Contingency Plans, and Pre-Arrival information exchange processes can all be developed specifically for your terminal.

  • MTMSA Compliance (OCIMF)

OCIMF’s Marine Terminal Management Self-Assessment and its associated site visit guide is trending towards the tool that many oil company majors use when auditing 3rd party terminals for assurance. Our team can aid your terminal in completing the MTMSA and developing action plans where opportunities are identified. Having a completed MTMSA on file that’s updated annually can drastically decrease the time spent on customer audits, and the number of findings stemming from such audits.

  • Operational Excellence Consulting

Optimum efficiency is the key to success for any marine terminal. INC has a vast array of experience in improving terminal efficiencies through Operational Analysis, Scheduling Efficiency, Demurrage Processes and Training as well as Mechanical and Tank Integrity Management Programs. We have proven processes in place that can increase your overall operational excellence and increace your bottom line.

  • Sounding, Dredging, & Permitting Management

All terminals at one point or another will have to deal with dredging their berthing pockets to maintain an adequate controlling depth for the nature of their business. The task of arranging bathymetric surveys, core samples, sample analysis, dredging permits, disposal permits, and dredging companies can be daunting. INC has well established relationships with the United States Army Corps of Engineers and can streamline your USACE permitting, bathymetric surveying and dredging needs.
